As part of this journey of discovery that I'm about to undertake, I decided to try my hand at blogging. It seems like a great way to capture memories along the way and keep my family and friends up to date... Please send me your comments
To start preparing for my 'Round the Edges trip, I sold my trusty Suzuki Sidekick and purchased a new (to me) 2004 Jeep Liberty. Today I've been arranging to have a tow package ordered and installed so I'll be able to tow the Liberty behind the rig and getting quotes from auto transporters. I'm still debating about installing a Brake Buddy vs one of the other supplemental braking systems.
Before I actually take off, I need to have the rig's radiator cleaned, replace my house batteries, and - most important but - go thru all the compartments and storage in the rig to remove unnecessary items and rearrange everything for easy access. I already went thru the books and photos but that hardly makes a dent...
